The LVST Whales had a tremendous 2007 season following the sharing of the Colonial Swim League Championship in 2006. A solid combination of veterans and newcomers made for a winning tradition that we will continue and build on this year. Join the excitement, fun and a WHALE OF A TEAM!

We are looking for you to become part of the success whether your child is a competitive beginner or a seasoned swimmer. All you need is ENTHUSIASM, DEDICATION, DESIRE and SPIRIT. The coaching staff will work with each and every child to develop their own swimming skills. A REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS THAT THIS IS A SWIM TEAM AND NOT SWIM LESSONS!. Try-outs are necessary to join the team. This will take place the first three days of practive for all new members. Completion of one length (25 meters) freestyle, without stopping, under 45 seconds or coaches discretion. If your child is not yet capable of achieving this goal, please sign up for swim lessons.

The age categories include: 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under, and 18 & Under - age as of June 1, 2008.

Team Dues: $80.00 per child, NO REFUNDS.

Practices will begin Tuesday, May 27^th, 2008, 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Times for age groups will vary. All information and necessary forms can be found and downloaded at http://www.lvswimteam.com. Please contact Team President if interested in joining. SIGN-UP DEADLINE FOR JOINING THE TEAM IS MAY 22^nd, 2008. Below are dates for the 2008 Swim Team Season. PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR VACATIONS AND TRIPS ACCORDINGLY AND AFTER THE SEASON IS COMPLETED.

We will be having a Parent's Meeting on Saturday, May 10^th, 2008, 11:00 a.m. SHARP at LVSC. All interested parents and children are welcome and should plan on attending.

Practices:	3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday until the end of the school year. Ages/times to be announced.
	7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday thru Friday beginning Thursday, June 19th, 2008.
